When crisis hits, its impact can be felt throughout a family. A job loss means financial stress. It can also mean trouble paying for childcare, which can lead to difficulty in getting a new job. Depression, substance use, and domestic abuse can follow. It takes a coalition of service providers to help those facing a crisis. With the high cost of living in Teton County, many families live on the edge of poverty. The current economic crisis has pushed many over the edge. At the same time, funding from governmental sources is being cut to those very agencies built to assist the increasing number of people in need. With decreased funding, human services organizations are struggling to meet the increasing demand. These are the agencies that are helping our community through tough times. Your gifts to them have a direct impact on the people who most need your help. With your support, these organizations can help more people. With your support, this group of providers can help your neighbors, friends, and co-workers up and out of crisis. You can help Jackson residents in crisis into productive citizens once more. Help us build a stronger community.
